This summer, rivalry is renewed between two of the oldest adversaries in sport: England and Australia. With England winning a tight series in 2009 that culminated in a magnificent finale at The Oval, the Australian side will be wanting revenge. Furthermore, England are the Twenty20 World Champions and that is going to heat up the battle! As always, interest will be high as two evenly matched sides take part in a five Test match series. The action will kick off in Brisbane on 25 November 2010 and will move on to Sydney for the final Test match of the series starting on Monday 3rd January 2011.

In addition, Sydney will host One-Day International matches against England on Sunday 23 January 2011 and Wednesday 2 February 2011 and against Sri Lanka on Friday 5 November 2010.

With a host of quality players on show from both sides, England will be attempting to win an Ashes series in Australia for the first time since 1987.
